Our banner held high in Durham

Here are some of the N2H members who marched with fellow campaigners behind their banner through the Durham streets yesterday at the massive event that is the Durham Miners’ Gala. We joined a buoyant 200,000 crowd in the sunshine on the racecourse for speeches condemning injustice.

We were able to distribute flyers and talk to many people about the plight of the women locked up in Hassockfield/Derwentside, recruiting them to our cause.
