The second day of the Women for Refugee Women challenge has runover its two day allotment in the high court. So now we’ll now have to wait for a new hearing date. See the story below and our earlier posts for more on this.
Meanwhile on the same day, there was a call by local protestors to make a stand at the IRC gates to stop the removal of womenheld in the IRC to a flight bound for Nigeria. It attracted a group of passionate people, young and old – some of whom succeeded in delaying the coach journey to the aiport by standing on the public highway.
