High Court judges have ruled today that asylum seekers sent by the UK g9overnment to Rwanda could not be guaranteed their rights and the policy was therefore unlawful.
This is a victory for all who regard Suella Braverman’s plans as unworkable and inhumane, but only a temporary one – as the link below explains.
For women caught up in the detention system, the ruling merely prolongs the dreadful uncertainty of their plight. But now they know that people all over the country, right up to the top of the legal system, are behind them in their struggle for justice.
